Jalal El Hamdaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malek El Mouataz having to interfere. In the 31st minute Jalal El Hamdaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malek El Mouataz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Safi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chokri Rossi to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes, Marrakech's Yugerten Ezzine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Malek El Mouataz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marrakech reached it. Agizul Boussoufa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malek El Mouataz having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Agizul Boussoufa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Safi's Malek El Mouataz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Marrakech was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamir Aboub to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Najid Maaroufi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Safi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marrakech were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. It was Atbir Remch who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Marrakech's Atbir Remch to fire away a dangerous shot which Malek El Mouataz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Safi's Najid Maaroufi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Jalal El Hamdaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malek El Mouataz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agizul Boussoufa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malek El Mouataz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agizul Boussoufa in the 85th minute of the match. Hilal Soauri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Najid Maaroufi went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marrakech players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Safi.
