Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hilal Khayri took the kick off in the first half of the match. Meknès's Ghazi Alioui got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hilal Khayri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ghazi Alioui came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Meknès fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ghazi Alioui couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Azhar Louzani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yazid Hermach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ghazi Alioui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meknès's supporters rose to their feet, but Ghazi Alioui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fathi Settati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Hilal Khayri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Meknès's Yazid Hermach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azhar Louzani in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Tétouan Renaissance's goal looked a bit too open when Hilal Khayri came free, but Fathi Settati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azhar Louzani struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Yazid Hermach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tétouan Renaissance. Ghazi Alioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Fathi Settati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Hilal Khayri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meknès's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilal Khayri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Azhar Benjelloun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tétouan Renaissance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meknès the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Wajih Regragui made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Meknès's goalkeeper Yazid Hermach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azhar Louzani. If Azhar Louzani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wajih Regragui came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Tétouan Renaissance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wajih Regragui couldn't finish the play. In the 59th match minute, Meknès was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amezyan Ben Chrifa to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Yazid Hermach successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fathi Settati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghazi Alioui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Azhar Louzani came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Tétouan Renaissance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Azhar Louzani couldn't finish the play. Yazid Hermach didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wajih Regragui went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ghazi Alioui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fathi Settati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralib Fouhami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
