In the 3rd minute Hilal Khayri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emad Chamakh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammad Ouhaki charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammad Ouhaki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Settat got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Ouhaki. Yazid Hermach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monir Dolmi in the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Wassim Diane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes in the game, Hilal Khayri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emad Chamakh having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Anaruz Chakir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anaruz Chakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monir Dolmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monir Dolmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yazid Hermach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monir Dolmi in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Settat's goal looked a bit too open when Hilal Khayri came free, but Emad Chamakh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hilal Khayri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monir Dolmi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yazid Hermach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Anaruz Chakir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Settat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anaruz Chakir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anaruz Chakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Meknès's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Monir Dolmi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 61 played minutes Meknès got a freekick which was hit by Safi Sakim. 66 minutes into the match, Ghazi Alioui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emad Chamakh. Settat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ghazi Alioui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Meknès's Ghazi Alioui pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Settat's Wassim Diane got a free kick in the 70th minute. Emad Chamakh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hilal Khayri's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Monir Dolmi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Meknès's Yazid Hermach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Meknès from getting a goal against them. 1-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Monir Dolmi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Anaruz Chakir fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Settat's protests and gave Anaruz Chakir a yellow card for diving instead. Anaruz Chakir hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Monir Dolmi from a close distance when the talented Yazid Hermach managed to make a qualified save. Meknès's players were relieved. Settat's Winifsan Aini got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Settat players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Meknès from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
