The audience was convinced that Ajeddig Anis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malek Doukali was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. When Faouzi Bourkadi fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asilah Union's protests and gave Faouzi Bourkadi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tétouan Najm booed when Asilah Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faouzi Bourkadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tétouan Najm's Malek Doukali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ajeddig Anis in the 27th minute of play. Ikken El Moubarki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Winaruz Hamdani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malek Doukali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayur Ziyati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ikken El Moubarkis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Winaruz Hamdani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ajeddig Anis in the 40th minute of play forced Tétouan Najm's goalkeeper Malek Doukali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Ziad Dolmi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Amayas Hamdani charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amayas Hamdani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amayas Hamdani hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If Ayur Ziyati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Asilah Union's Ayur Ziyati sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malek Doukali narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magher Zaza was the one to do the kick off. Ikken El Moubarki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Winaruz Hamdani having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ikken El Moubarki in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Winaruz Hamdani saved Asilah Union from getting behind. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asilah Union's goalkeeper Winaruz Hamdani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tétouan Najm's Malek Doukali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Tétouan Najm from getting a goal against them. Ayur Ziyati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Malek Doukali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ayur Ziyati came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Asilah Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ayur Ziyati couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Magher Zaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Winaruz Hamdani. Asilah Union's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magher Zaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Magher Zaza scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Winaruz Hamdani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Asilah Union's zone, Ikken El Moubarki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Winaruz Hamdani came out of the goal and Ikken El Moubarki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tétouan Najm booed when Asilah Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ajeddig Anis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ikken El Moubarki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
