After a defensive mix-up in Zagora Union's zone, Zuhair Amazigh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hassan Kharbouchi came out of the goal and Zuhair Amazigh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zagora Union's Hassan Kharbouchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuhair Amazigh in the 58th minute of play. Hassan Kharbouchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziyad Chretien in the 59th minute of play. When Ziyad Chretien came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Azilal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziyad Chretien couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Saif Benzouin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagora Union and the Azilal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Azilal booed when Zagora Union was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saif Benzouin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Zagora Union's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhair Amazigh came free, but Hassan Kharbouchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ziyad Chretien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Salim Camacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Izil Yaacoubi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Zagora Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izil Yaacoubi couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Ziyad Chretien notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Zagora Union's Hassan Kharbouchi. Hassan Kharbouchi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Azilal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ziri El Kaoutar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Azilal defense, Izil Yaacoubi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tayeb Abarou. The Azilal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tayeb Abarou should have stopped the shot. Izil Yaacoubi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayeb Abarou having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Azilal's goalkeeper Tayeb Abarou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Zagora Union players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
