Rami El Ghrib came out of the goal and Abdelali Nouhass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Azerwal Ben Chrifa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sayid El Brazi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Uksintas Chakir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Beni Mellal Olympique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azerwal Ben Chrifa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beni Mellal Olympique's Ayrad Bousselham suffered a fractured collar bone after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mamoun Bendahman charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mamoun Bendahman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, Mamoun Bendahman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilyass Benzoukan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rami El Ghrib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haitham El Khayati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haitham El Khayati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Haitham El Khayati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uksintas Chakir having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Haitham El Khayati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kenitra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haitham El Khayati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Beni Mellal Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelali Nouhass to maneuver through the defense. Uksintas Chakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haitham El Khayati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaid Bezzai kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sayid El Brazi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uksintas Chakir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sayid El Brazi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 90 minutes, Ilyass Benzoukan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beni Mellal Olympique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilyass Benzoukan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Safwane Lahoua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rami El Ghrib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilyass Benzoukan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
