After 8 played minutes Oujda Stade got a freekick which was hit by Aghilas Hermach. Mennad El Ouaryaghli struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Atrar Nouhass didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabat Union. Rahim Soulaimani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magher Oulhaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Rabat Union got a freekick which was hit by Othmane Diane. A collision led to Oujda Stade getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Magher Oulhaj hit a great ball. Atrar Nouhass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winaruz El Karkouri's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Magher Oulhaj got free with Rahim Soulaimani in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Mennad El Ouaryaghli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Atrar Nouhass. Adil Taouni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Soulaimani having to interfere. If Mennad El Ouaryaghli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Adil Taouni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adil Taouni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rahim Soulaimani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Rabat Union's zone, Adil Taouni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rahim Soulaimani came out of the goal and Adil Taouni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oujda Stade fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Atrar Nouhass, was totally fooled by Rabat Union's Aghilas Ouhaki, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rahim Soulaimani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magher Oulhaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Atrar Nouhass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winaruz El Karkouri's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Oujda Stade's Atrar Nouhass proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Oujda Stade from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Oujda Stade's goalkeeper Atrar Nouhass had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mennad El Ouaryaghli. Adil Taouni scored 2-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rahim Soulaimani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 97 minutes of play, Oujda Stade's Magher Oulhaj made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rahim Soulaimani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rabat Union's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
