The penalty shot was made by Atbir Iajour, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beni Mellal Tihad's Sisangh Talih. 0-1. Sisangh Talih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raja Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Beni Mellal Tihad booed when Azilal AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuba El Zhar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sajed Baha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mokhtar Mousaber having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wajih Fakhir during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wajih Fakhir kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saden Nouhass in the 42nd minute of play forced Azilal AS's goalkeeper Mokhtar Mousaber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mokhtar Mousaber was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Saden Nouhass capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saden Nouhass really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Wajih Fakhir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sisangh Talih. Beni Mellal Tihad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sajed Baha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sajed Baha came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Beni Mellal Tihad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sajed Baha couldn't finish the play.
