Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Salé's Taoufiq Talih started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Azhar Ajri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taha Kadmiri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taha Kadmiri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azerwal Touzani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taha Kadmiri came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kenitra Athletic Club's Jalal Naybet. But to his dismay, Jalal Naybet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Taoufiq Talih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aksim Chadli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azerwal Touzani in the 22nd minute of play forced Salé's goalkeeper Taha Kadmiri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Taoufiq Talih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Azhar Ajri fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kenitra Athletic Club's protests and gave Azhar Ajri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kenitra Athletic Club's Azhar Ajri got a free kick in the 24th minute. Taoufiq Talih's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aksim Chadli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Salé's Taha Kadmiri got control of the ball when Rahim Sarsar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Marwan Ghayour tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Taha Kadmiri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Kenitra Athletic Club getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jalal Naybet hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Azerwal Touzani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taha Kadmiri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azerwal Touzani, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The corner led Salé's Safi Faris to fire away a dangerous shot which Aksim Chadli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Taha Kadmiri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azerwal Touzani in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Kenitra Athletic Club's Azerwal Touzani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taha Kadmiri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 71st minute, Kenitra Athletic Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kasper Edström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Salé's goal looked a bit too open when Azerwal Touzani came free, but Taha Kadmiri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yahya Boutarbouch's late challenge caught a Kenitra Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yahya Boutarbouch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Salé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yahya Boutarbouch to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Azerwal Touzani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taha Kadmiri. Salé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azerwal Touzani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Taha Kadmiri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jalal Naybet in the 89th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Jalal Naybet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taha Kadmiri. Salé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jalal Naybet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The Kenitra Athletic Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
