Massin Bouhaja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Misifsen Kacemi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fès Stade's zone, Loutfi Kissi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Misifsen Kacemi came out of the goal and Loutfi Kissi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adil Lahlafi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adil Lahlafi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maysar Oulhaj having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Beni Mellal's goal looked a bit too open when Mokhtar Arrafi came free, but Maysar Oulhaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loutfi Kissi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Misifsen Kacemi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aylal Belabed helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Fès Stade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aylal Belabed to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Loutfi Kissi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Misifsen Kacemi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Massin Bouhaja got free with Misifsen Kacemi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Loutfi Kissi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdelbassir Zaki kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Adil Lahlafi scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maysar Oulhaj, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fès Stade fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beni Mellal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
