In the 6th match minute, Figuig Étoile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziyad Aouita to maneuver through the defense. Ziad Roumani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Omar Chiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Figuig Étoile getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Boutahar Sakim hit a great ball. The supporters of Ouarzazate booed when Figuig Étoile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelali El Hadrioui didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Atbir Sarhani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Figuig Étoile's Omar Chiba didn't even have to move. Izri Bidoudane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Omar Chiba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Chiba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nacer Kachloul in the 21st minute. Nacer Kachloul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Omar Chiba made a huge save. Omar Chiba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izri Bidoudane in the 31st minute of the match. Nacer Kachloul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izri Bidoudane struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Omar Chiba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouarzazate. Meissour Ammi's late challenge caught a Figuig Étoile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Meissour Ammi helped the player get up and apologised. Meissour Ammi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Izri Bidoudane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Omar Chiba. That made the score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mahir Massoun made a kick off. Izri Bidoudane might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Chiba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izri Bidoudane ran back to his position shaking his head. Ziad Roumani's late challenge caught a Figuig Étoile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Osmane Dirar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Murad Tafersit when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mahir Massoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murad Tafersit having to interfere. Mahir Massoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmane Dirar in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murad Tafersit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Figuig Étoile's zone, Izri Bidoudane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Chiba came out of the goal and Izri Bidoudane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ouarzazate's Nacer Kachloul got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hamza Boussaboun charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamza Boussaboun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Hamza Boussaboun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmane Dirar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Murad Tafersit when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Abdelali El Hadrioui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmane Dirar got free with Murad Tafersit in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 92 minutes, Nacer Kachloul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ouarzazate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacer Kachloul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Izri Bidoudane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
