Hisham Soulaimani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Idus Taouil in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idus Taouil in the 15th minute of play forced Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad's goalkeeper Hisham Soulaimani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hisham Soulaimani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Idus Taouil's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jalal Chiba to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad booed when Zagora Étoile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayur Ben Chrifa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Idus Taouil sped through Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hisham Soulaimani. Taoufiq Samaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hisham Soulaimani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 33 in the game by Yacoub Abarou from a close distance when the talented Youmni Ziati managed to make a qualified save. Zagora Étoile's players were relieved. Yacoub Abarou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Idus Taouil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taoufiq Samaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hisham Soulaimani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad's Wajih Allach got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wajih Allach was the one to do the kick off. Wajih Allach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youmni Ziati having to interfere. Youmni Ziati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wajih Allach in the 56th minute of play. When Moustafa Chakhssi fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zagora Étoile's protests and gave Moustafa Chakhssi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Moustafa Chakhssi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yacoub Abarou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Youmni Ziati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Taoufiq Samaoui could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Hisham Soulaimani however easily saved by the left post. Youmni Ziati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wajih Allach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jalal Chiba's late challenge caught a Zagora Étoile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jalal Chiba helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ksar-el-Kebir Rachad getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jalal Chiba hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Taoufiq Samaoui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hisham Soulaimani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Taoufiq Samaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wajih Allach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youmni Ziati having to interfere. Idus Belkhayat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
