Tarek Lamyaghri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Tafersit's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Yassir Jaafari's late challenge caught a Meknès Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yassir Jaafari helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Kenitra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yassir Jaafari to maneuver through the defense. Tanan El Guarrouj shot a long shot in the 8th minute and a light blocked Nasri Louissi hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. The supporters of Meknès Atletico booed when Kenitra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Othmane Boualouch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nasri Louissi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdelkabir Louzani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Abdelkabir Louzani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasri Louissi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Tafersit in the 32nd minute of play forced Meknès Atletico's goalkeeper Tarek Lamyaghri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelkabir Louzani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdelkabir Louzani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasri Louissi having to interfere. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Meknès Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanan Rabeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Othmane Boualouch got free with Tarek Lamyaghri in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Igider Rhanem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Tafersit made a kick off. Omar Tafersit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tarek Lamyaghri having to make a save. Omar Tafersit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarek Lamyaghri having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Kenitra got a freekick which was hit by Yassir Jaafari. The long shot by Tanan El Guarrouj in the 59th minute really tested Nasri Louissi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 60th match minute, Kenitra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziyad Belhaj to maneuver through the defense. Igider Rhanem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nasri Louissi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Abdelkabir Louzani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meknès Atletico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdelkabir Louzani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Meknès Atletico's Abdelkabir Louzani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nasri Louissi. Nasri Louissi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Kenitra's zone, Igider Rhanem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nasri Louissi came out of the goal and Igider Rhanem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Nabil Chakir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenitra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meknès Atletico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kenitra's Nabil Chakir got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Abdelkabir Louzani got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rouchd El Bahri's late challenge caught a Meknès Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rouchd El Bahri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Rouchd El Bahri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Abdelkabir Louzani kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nasri Louissi. That made the score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. The Kenitra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Meknès Atletico's performance. The match ended with a win for Meknès Atletico.
