Khemisset's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bahja Rifi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Izri Fenkar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Ziyad Ait Yahya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 29 played minutes Berkane got a freekick which was hit by Raja Boukhari. A collision led to Khemisset getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Salem Sektioui hit a great ball. If Abdelmajid Ziati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Winsen Merzouk was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Khemisset's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 45 minutes into the match, Khemisset's goal looked a bit too open when Bahja Rifi came free, but Asfru El Asmar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asfru El Asmar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelmajid Ziati in the 46th minute of the match. When Abdelmajid Ziati came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Berkane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdelmajid Ziati couldn't finish the play. The Khemisset players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berkane were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdelmajid Ziati to strike the kick off in the second half. Bahja Rifi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asfru El Asmar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelmajid Ziati in the 64th minute of play forced Khemisset's goalkeeper Asfru El Asmar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asfru El Asmar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahja Rifi in the 65th minute. Youmni Aboub charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Youmni Aboub the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, one of Khemisset:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Khemisset. In the 79th minute, Khemisset's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdelmajid Ziati fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Khemisset's Asfru El Asmar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Khemisset from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khemisset's goalkeeper Asfru El Asmar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Khemisset getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Salem Sektioui hit a great ball. Abdelmajid Ziati received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Asfru El Asmar came out and tried to block the shot, but Abdelmajid Ziati slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 91st minute. Mennad Bassir's late challenge caught a Khemisset's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mennad Bassir helped the player get up and apologised. Ziyad Ait Yahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izri Fenkar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berkane's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
