The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Kenitra's Amazigh Chippo got control of the ball when Afalkay Alloudi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afalkay Alloudi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Amazigh Chippo made a huge save. 10 minutes in the game, Nouh El Azhari fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amazigh Chippo having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Afalkay Alloudi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kenitra's Amazigh Chippo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Youmni Doukali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Beni Mellal's Nacer Sbai got a free kick in the 19th minute. Agwmar Fegrouch's late challenge caught a Kenitra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agwmar Fegrouch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Beni Mellal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agwmar Fegrouch to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Beni Mellal's Naoufal Bendahman tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amazigh Chippo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nouh El Azhari showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Abdelkabir Sarhani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isul El Ouardi having to interfere. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Beni Mellal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Badr El Azhari didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Beni Mellal's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelkabir Sarhani came free, but Isul El Ouardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Nouh El Azhari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Nouh El Azhari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amazigh Chippo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afalkay Alloudi's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The Beni Mellal fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Beni Mellal's Afalkay Alloudi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kenitra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ibrahim Sbai in the 61st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Mamoun Zairi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Abdelkabir Sarhani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amazigh Chippo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afalkay Alloudi in the 67th minute of the match. If Afalkay Alloudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Beni Mellal's goalkeeper Isul El Ouardi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdelkabir Sarhani. In the 76th minute, Abdelkabir Sarhani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isul El Ouardi. The goal made the score 3-1. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Beni Mellal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Badr El Azhari didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ayrad Boussaboun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isul El Ouardi. That made the score 3-2 in the 85 minute of play. Isul El Ouardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdelkabir Sarhani in the 88th minute. Badis Boussoufa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Beni Mellal had won after a very even match.
