Taza's Irat Mehdi got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Zeineddine El Ghrib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Iajour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agafay Yaacoubi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes Taza got a freekick which was hit by Agafay Yaacoubi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeineddine El Ghrib in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mansour Iajour saved Taza from getting behind. Zeineddine El Ghrib struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mansour Iajour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ouezzane. With a little luck, Ouezzane's Camil Sarhani got control of the ball when Irat Mehdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youness Bouden in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camil Sarhani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Gulusa Soulaimani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irat Mehdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Camil Sarhani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ouezzane's Faouzi Aouita got a free kick in the 30th minute. Youness Bouden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeineddine El Ghrib received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Mansour Iajour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Taza's zone, Jawad Oulhaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansour Iajour came out of the goal and Jawad Oulhaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Taza's goal looked a bit too open when Zeineddine El Ghrib came free, but Mansour Iajour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Agafay Yaacoubi fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taza's protests and gave Agafay Yaacoubi a yellow card for diving instead. Agafay Yaacoubi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Youness Bouden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Zeineddine El Ghrib made the kick off in the second half. Taza's Irat Mehdi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irat Mehdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camil Sarhani having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Zeineddine El Ghrib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Taza's Youssef Bendriss got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mansour Iajour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeineddine El Ghrib in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute Youness Bouden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camil Sarhani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jawad Oulhaj got free with Mansour Iajour in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gulusa Soulaimani fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ouezzane's protests and gave Gulusa Soulaimani a yellow card for diving instead. 74 minutes into the game, Youness Bouden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Camil Sarhani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th match minute, Taza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agafay Yaacoubi to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Taza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazine Amchaibou to maneuver through the defense. Ayman Aboub was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mansour Iajour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeineddine El Ghrib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Faouzi Aouita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mansour Iajour saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Ouezzane defense, Irat Mehdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camil Sarhani. The Ouezzane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camil Sarhani should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Taza fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ouezzane had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
