The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samih Mehdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samih Mehdi in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yugerten Chakir saved Beni Mellal from getting behind. Bukkus Kissi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Yugerten Chakir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samih Mehdi in the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Er Rachidia Amal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saif Obbadi to maneuver through the defense. Samih Mehdi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yugerten Chakir came out and tried to block the shot, but Samih Mehdi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Yousri Lamari hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Ramzi Bistara came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Beni Mellal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramzi Bistara couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Beni Mellal's Yousri Lamari broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igider Talih was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Igider Talih lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ayrad Boutarbouch. In the 64th minute, Er Rachidia Amal Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramzi Bistara fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yugerten Chakir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samih Mehdi's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Er Rachidia Amal Club's zone, Ramzi Bistara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayrad Boutarbouch came out of the goal and Ramzi Bistara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute of the match Soufian Jbilou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yugerten Chakir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Beni Mellal booed when Er Rachidia Amal Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Mousaber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayrad Boutarbouch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramzi Bistara in the 90th minute. Samih Mehdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Yugerten Chakir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yugerten Chakir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atbir Hermach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Samih Mehdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yugerten Chakir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Er Rachidia Amal Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beni Mellal's performance. The match ended with a win for Beni Mellal.
