Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yahya El Fatouaki made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Essaouira's Yahya El Fatouaki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Housni Ali. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 9th minute, one of Agadir Union Sportive:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agadir Union Sportive. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yahya El Fatouaki in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Housni Ali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute of the match Essaouira got a corner. Agadir Union Sportive's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agwmar Bassir ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Essaouira's corner Agwmar Bassir fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Housni Ali quite easily take care of the ball. When Nour Sarsar came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Essaouira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nour Sarsar couldn't finish the play. Essaouira's Mennad Chippo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aghbalu Lahlafi in the 26th minute of play. Mennad Chippo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aghbalu Lahlafi in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Essaouira got a freekick which was hit by Zakariya Soauri. 38 minutes into the match, Essaouira's goal looked a bit too open when Aznag Sakim came free, but Mennad Chippo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Agadir Union Sportive booed when Essaouira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mokhtar El Amrani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aznag Sakim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mennad Chippo having to interfere. Housni Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yahya El Fatouaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aghbalu Lahlafi made a kick off. In the 66th minute Aghbalu Lahlafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mennad Chippo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Essaouira's Nour Sarsar got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Younes El Guarrouj during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Essaouira. Agwmar Bassir stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Housni Ali. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yahya El Fatouaki in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Housni Ali saved Agadir Union Sportive from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Agadir Union Sportive's Mennad Chippo threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aghbalu Lahlafi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Essaouira's goal looked a bit too open when Aghbalu Lahlafi came free, but Mennad Chippo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aghbalu Lahlafi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aghbalu Lahlafi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Agadir Union Sportive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aghbalu Lahlafi couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute Aghbalu Lahlafi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mennad Chippo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
