Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fadel Belmahjoub in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gulusa El Khattabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Izil Naybet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Salem Bidoudane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fadel Belmahjoub came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Khenifra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fadel Belmahjoub couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gulusa El Khattabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Izil Naybet's late challenge caught a Khenifra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Izil Naybet helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Club Lioceaux Atlas Moham got a freekick which was hit by Izil Naybet.
