Fès's Yassir Boughanem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Fès from getting a goal against them. Abdelhafiz Chakir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuhair Sarraj, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 14thth minute of the game Mass Ouaddou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fès's Yassir Boughanem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Zagora Rachad's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhair Sarraj came free, but Abdelhafiz Chakir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youmni Lamyaghri in the 18th minute of play forced Zagora Rachad's goalkeeper Abdelhafiz Chakir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yassir Boughanem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mass Ouaddou in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Mokhtar El Hamdaoui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zagora Rachad's Mass Ouaddou got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Rami Zerouali cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Yassir Boughanem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yassir Boughanem made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rami Zerouali sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Fès's goalkeeper Yassir Boughanem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rami Zerouali. Zagora Rachad's Abdelhafiz Chakir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youmni Lamyaghri in the 40th minute of play. Rami Zerouali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youmni Lamyaghri made a kick off. Mass Ouaddou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yassir Boughanem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mass Ouaddou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Youmni Lamyaghri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelhafiz Chakir having to interfere. In the 64th minute Mass Ouaddou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yassir Boughanem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Youmni Lamyaghri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd minute, Mass Ouaddou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ziad Boussaboun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yassir Boughanem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Zagora Rachad's Rami Zerouali got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rami Zerouali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Zagora Rachad were the better team. Zagora Rachad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
