After having played for 10 minutes, Saber Abarou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Er Rachidia Najah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saber Abarou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Younes Chafni spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Beni Mellal's goal. Anaruz Nouhass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saber Abarou, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Beni Mellal booed when Er Rachidia Najah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antalas Fouhami didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taoufiq Neqrouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wajih El Baz in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Er Rachidia Najah's zone, Massinissa Bagui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taoufiq Neqrouz came out of the goal and Massinissa Bagui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Er Rachidia Najah's Taoufiq Neqrouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rachad Taouil in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Moustafa Amchaibou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Awrib Jaafari's late challenge caught a Beni Mellal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Awrib Jaafari helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Er Rachidia Najah got a freekick which was hit by Awrib Jaafari. The Er Rachidia Najah players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
