The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aksim Dolmi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Youssef Abdelghani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Kenitra's Youssef Abdelghani got control of the ball when Yuften El Baz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yuften El Baz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Yuften El Baz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Yuften El Baz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kenitra's goalkeeper Youssef Abdelghani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Yuften El Baz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saif Diane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Azerwal Lahlafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saif Diane in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raja El Hirech saved Khenifra Étoile from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Aksim Mahdoufi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenitra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khenifra Étoile the free kick. A collision led to Kenitra getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Aksim Mahdoufi hit a great ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Murad Chihi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khenifra Étoile's Raja El Hirech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saif Diane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Raja El Hirech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tarek Armoumen took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raja El Hirech. Raja El Hirech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aksim Dolmi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Youssef Abdelghani came out and tried to block the shot, but Aksim Dolmi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. Murad Chihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Saif Diane had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raja El Hirech. Khenifra Étoile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saif Diane was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

57 minutes into the game, Tarek Armoumen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kenitra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khenifra Étoile the free kick. The supporters of Khenifra Étoile booed when Kenitra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarek Armoumen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murad Chihi's late challenge caught a Khenifra Étoile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murad Chihi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Khenifra Étoile booed when Kenitra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murad Chihi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youssef Abdelghani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aksim Dolmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Aksim Dolmi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khenifra Étoile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aksim Dolmi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuften El Baz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youssef Abdelghani having to interfere. If Yuften El Baz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Tarek Armoumen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Khenifra Étoile's Samih El Ouardi tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saif Diane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Raja El Hirech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moustafa Atif charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moustafa Atif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kenitra's Moustafa Atif got a free kick in the 85th minute. Azerwal Lahlafi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Youssef Abdelghani. Kenitra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raja El Hirech made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Murad Chihi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saif Diane in the 95th minute of play forced Khenifra Étoile's goalkeeper Raja El Hirech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenitra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
