With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tijani Chippo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raja El Hirech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wajih Ghayour in the 21st minute of the match. Khenifra Étoile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuften El Baz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aksim Dolmi was the one to do the kick off. Ayub Faris's late challenge caught a Khenifra Étoile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ayub Faris helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Taroudant Stade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayub Faris to maneuver through the defense. Khenifra Étoile's Samih El Ouardi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. Tijani El Asmar kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Khenifra Étoile's Samih El Ouardi tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Yuften El Baz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khenifra Étoile's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuften El Baz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tijani Chippo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuften El Baz in the 89th minute of play forced Taroudant Stade's goalkeeper Tijani Chippo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Winaruz Falah during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Taroudant Stade got a freekick which was hit by Winaruz Falah. Yuften El Baz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
