Naoufal Ben Barek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Massinissa Rossi in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute, Massinissa Rossi made a precise shot to the right of Naoufal Ben Barek. Beni Mellal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Naoufal Ben Barek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Housni Ammi in the 6th minute of play. Housni Ammi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Beni Mellal defense, Housni Ammi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naoufal Ben Barek. The Beni Mellal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naoufal Ben Barek should have stopped the shot. Sabri Benzouin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes, Izil El Kaddouri made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Khenifra's Nasseh Touzani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th match minute, Khenifra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taoufiq Ouhaki to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Aghilas Doukali in the 30th minute really tested Nasseh Touzani's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 34th match minute, Khenifra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Bassir to maneuver through the defense. Massinissa Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Khenifra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Izil Soauri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Izil El Kaddouri might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nasseh Touzani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izil El Kaddouri ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Housni Ammi in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naoufal Ben Barek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Massinissa Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khenifra's supporters rose to their feet, but Massinissa Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naoufal Ben Barek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Beni Mellal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Khenifra were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Housni Ammi made a kick off. Khenifra's Nasseh Touzani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izil El Kaddouri in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Izil Soauri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nasseh Touzani was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Massinissa Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Izil Soauri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nasseh Touzani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izil El Kaddouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Izil Soauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasseh Touzani having to interfere. Izil El Kaddouri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nasseh Touzani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nasseh Touzani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izil El Kaddouri in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Khenifra's goal looked a bit too open when Izil Soauri came free, but Nasseh Touzani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Beni Mellal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Massinissa Rossi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 73 minutes, Massinissa Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khenifra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Massinissa Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Khenifra's goal looked a bit too open when Izil El Kaddouri came free, but Nasseh Touzani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Izil Soauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Massinissa Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naoufal Ben Barek having to interfere. The Khenifra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
