Abdelhafiz Benaskar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atbir Mahdoufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamoun Azaouagh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atbir Mahdoufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mamoun Azaouagh in the 13th minute of the match. Udad Talhaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikken El Idrissi having to interfere. If Udad Talhaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mohammedia booed when Zagora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mamoun Azaouagh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atbir Mahdoufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izil Lohkmiri in the 30th minute of the match. Zagora's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Abdelhafiz Benaskar scored to the left of an out of position Ikken El Idrissi, making the score, 1-1.
After having played for 54 minutes, Udad Talhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mohammedia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Udad Talhaoui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zagora's zone, Udad Talhaoui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ikken El Idrissi came out of the goal and Udad Talhaoui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Idus Talha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Idus Talha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zagora's supporters rose to their feet, but Idus Talha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atbir Mahdoufi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ikken El Idrissi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udad Talhaoui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammedia's Abdelhafiz Benaskar got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mamoun Azaouagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izil Lohkmiri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Atbir Mahdoufi made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Udad Talhaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ikken El Idrissi. Zagora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Udad Talhaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Udad Talhaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 95 minutes of play, Mohammedia's Abdelhafiz Benaskar made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ikken El Idrissi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohammedia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
