The audience was convinced that Uksintas Chakhssi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tanan Bouhaja was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Abdellatif Boussoufa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Jadida Atletico's protests and gave Abdellatif Boussoufa a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wassim El Assas in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wajih Atif prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wassim El Assas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Wajih Atif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Uksintas Chakhssi made the kick off in the second half. If Ziri Kolna Mgharba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, El Jadida Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aghbalu Fouhami to maneuver through the defense. During the 62nd minute of the match Abdellatif Boussoufa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Abdellatif Boussoufa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 62 played minutes El Jadida Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Abdellatif Boussoufa. The supporters of Tan-Tan booed when El Jadida Atletico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uksintas Chakhssi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralib Zerouali struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wajih Atif didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tan-Tan. Ziri Kolna Mgharba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tanan Bouhaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ziri Kolna Mgharba came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the El Jadida Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziri Kolna Mgharba couldn't finish the play. If Fahmi Belmahjoub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Jadida Atletico's Ziri Kolna Mgharba got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tan-Tan's zone, Ziri Kolna Mgharba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanan Bouhaja came out of the goal and Ziri Kolna Mgharba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ziri Kolna Mgharba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tanan Bouhaja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wassim El Assas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
