Ismael El Bahri made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Marwan Taouil sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Tangier Union Sportive's Ismael El Bahri got control of the ball when Marwan Taouil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael El Bahri was a little too slow when Afaw Fouhami got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Tangier Union Sportive's Karim Mokhtari got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Tangier Union Sportive's Ismael El Bahri got control of the ball when Marwan Taouil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mokhtar Diane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Awzal El Ouardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael El Bahri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afaw Fouhami in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Awzal El Ouardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tangier Union Sportive's supporters rose to their feet, but Awzal El Ouardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mokhtar Diane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Tangier Union Sportive's Awzal El Ouardi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mokhtar Diane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Tangier Union Sportive's goalkeeper Ismael El Bahri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marwan Taouil. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Tangier Union Sportive booed when Guelmim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mokhtar Diane made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Awzal El Ouardi sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tangier Union Sportive players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guelmim.
