Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amalu Hermach kicked off to start the match. In the 8th match minute, Essaouira Amal Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Zemmama to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Essaouira Amal Club's goalkeeper Sabri Rifi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Massyl Timoumi. Takfarinas Bouhaja might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sabri Rifi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Takfarinas Bouhaja ran back to his position shaking his head. Idir Achik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salaheddine Hermach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moutawakkil Diba having to interfere. Amalu Hermach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Moutawakkil Diba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takfarinas Bouhaja hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Amalu Hermach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moutawakkil Diba having to interfere. In the 24th minute Salaheddine Hermach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moutawakkil Diba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moutawakkil Diba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salaheddine Hermach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moutawakkil Diba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amalu Hermach, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Salaheddine Hermach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Essaouira Amal Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Salaheddine Hermach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moutawakkil Diba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Essaouira Amal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Idir Achik came free, but Sabri Rifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Idir Achik was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Essaouira Amal Club getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ghazi El Mouataz hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Al-Hoceima's Ayub Chihi tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Al-Hoceima booed when Essaouira Amal Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Idriss El Khayati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al-Hoceima's Ayub Chihi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Essaouira Amal Club. Massyl Timoumi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Massyl Timoumi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sabri Rifi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Essaouira Amal Club's Sabri Rifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idir Achik in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Essaouira Amal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Massyl Timoumi came free, but Sabri Rifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Amalu Hermach fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Salaheddine Hermach's late challenge caught a Al-Hoceima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salaheddine Hermach helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Al-Hoceima's Idir Achik got a free kick in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Essaouira Amal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Idir Achik came free, but Sabri Rifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabri Rifi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winaruz Dirar in the 95th minute of the match. Sabri Rifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Massyl Timoumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Essaouira Amal Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
