Moutawakkil Diba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aylal Aini in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Al-Hoceima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takfarinas Bouhaja to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Agafay El Ahmadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moutawakkil Diba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Massyl Timoumi in the 20th minute of play forced Imzouren's goalkeeper Azulay El Yaagoubi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Al-Hoceima got a freekick which was hit by Izil Soauri. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ameqran Bourkadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imzouren's supporters rose to their feet, but Ameqran Bourkadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moutawakkil Diba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Massyl Timoumi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azulay El Yaagoubi having to interfere. Imzouren's Aylal Aini got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moutawakkil Diba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agafay El Ahmadi in the 28th minute of play. Idir Achik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Idir Achik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azulay El Yaagoubi having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Idir Achik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azulay El Yaagoubi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azulay El Yaagoubi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idir Achik in the 47th minute of play.

After a defensive mix-up in Imzouren's zone, Idir Achik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azulay El Yaagoubi came out of the goal and Idir Achik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afa Chihi charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afa Chihi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Afa Chihi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Aylal Aini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moutawakkil Diba having to interfere. Moutawakkil Diba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aylal Aini, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Aylal Aini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aylal Aini struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Moutawakkil Diba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imzouren. Moutawakkil Diba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agafay El Ahmadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Aylal Aini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moutawakkil Diba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aylal Aini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Moutawakkil Diba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gulusa Abdelghani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Takfarinas Bouhaja was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Al-Hoceima's Takfarinas Bouhaja got a free kick in the 85th minute. Imzouren's Ameqran Bourkadi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Al-Hoceima. In the 89th minute, Winaruz Dirar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ameqran Bourkadi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moutawakkil Diba. Al-Hoceima's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gulusa Abdelghani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Moutawakkil Diba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agafay El Ahmadi in the 93rd minute of play forced Al-Hoceima's goalkeeper Moutawakkil Diba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aylal Aini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
