The supporters of Khouribga booed when Essaouira Amal Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaruz El Bahri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazine Baha missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 5 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sabri Rifi right hand side. Amalu Hermach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salaheddine Hermach hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Jawad Benaskar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Essaouira Amal Club's Sabri Rifi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Essaouira Amal Club's Sabri Rifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naoufal Hamidouch in the 21st minute of play. Salaheddine Hermach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nizar Diba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Essaouira Amal Club's Amalu Hermach got a free kick in the 26th minute. Jawad Benaskar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Amalu Hermach in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jawad Benaskar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Rifi having to interfere. Naoufal Hamidouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sabri Rifi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Essaouira Amal Club's Nizar Diba threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amalu Hermach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Khouribga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Amalu Hermach 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naoufal Hamidouch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jawad Benaskar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khouribga's supporters rose to their feet, but Jawad Benaskar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Rifi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabri Rifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naoufal Hamidouch, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Nizar Diba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salaheddine Hermach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jawad Benaskar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabri Rifi having to interfere. Sabri Rifi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jawad Benaskar in the 74th minute. Jawad Benaskar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Younes Mehdi kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jawad Benaskar got free with Sabri Rifi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Jawad Benaskar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khouribga's supporters rose to their feet, but Jawad Benaskar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Rifi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khouribga's Naoufal Hamidouch got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Essaouira Amal Club got a freekick which was hit by Ghazi El Mouataz. Ziyad Diane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sabri Rifi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Khouribga's goal looked a bit too open when Amalu Hermach came free, but Nizar Diba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Essaouira Amal Club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
