Ksar-el-Kebir's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 50th minute of the game, when Mahdi Kharja after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Figuig AS's goal. Mahdi Kharja was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 61st minute, Raja Hadaouir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Amezyan Ezzine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziri Hamouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ziri Hamouch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Amezyan Ezzine put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ziri Hamouch. After a rather tough play, Ksar-el-Kebir's Zouheir Baha got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Amezyan Ezzine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ziri Hamouch was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
