Ziri Hamouch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zuhair Dolmi in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute Mahir Bourkadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziri Hamouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Souleimane El Hirech's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rachid Yaacoubi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Figuig AS's Ouahib Dolmi suffered a concussion after 10 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 11th match minute, Ouarzazate Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izemrasen Sarhani to maneuver through the defense. Souleimane El Hirech struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Rachid Yaacoubi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figuig AS. If Mahir Bourkadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Awsim Erbati kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ouarzazate Union's goalkeeper Rachid Yaacoubi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Figuig AS's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Bourkadi came free, but Ziri Hamouch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Souleimane El Hirech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rachid Yaacoubi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Souleimane El Hirech got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zuhair Dolmi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. The supporters of Ouarzazate Union booed when Figuig AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Ataba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aderbal Merzouk, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Figuig AS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Aderfi Dirar hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mahir Bourkadi to strike the kick off in the second half. Mahir Bourkadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ziri Hamouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zuhair Dolmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziri Hamouch having to interfere. Figuig AS's Ziri Hamouch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Bourkadi in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ouarzazate Union's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Souleimane El Hirech fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 66th match minute, Ouarzazate Union was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talal Fegrouch to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ouarzazate Union getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Idriss Fehla hit a great ball. Rachid Yaacoubi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salim Ataba, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuhair Dolmi in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ziri Hamouch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute Mahir Bourkadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziri Hamouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salim Ataba kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. During the 80th minute of the match Izemrasen Sarhani completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Izemrasen Sarhani a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ouarzazate Union getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Izemrasen Sarhani hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Souleimane El Hirech made a precise shot to the right of Rachid Yaacoubi. Ouarzazate Union's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Souleimane El Hirech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rachid Yaacoubi having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
