Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mass Roumani started the match with the kick off. Ziyad Boussoufa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afer Chakir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Taza's goal looked a bit too open when Mass Roumani came free, but Samih Zairi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Taroudant Wydad's goal looked a bit too open when Afer Chakir came free, but Ziyad Boussoufa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziyad Boussoufa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winsen Zeryouh's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Salem Amchaibou hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Mansour Aini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Taroudant Wydad's goal looked a bit too open when Winsen Zeryouh came free, but Ziyad Boussoufa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mass Roumani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samih Zairi having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Amin Louissi could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Samih Zairi however easily saved by the left post. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taza! Samih Zairi had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Mansour Aini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ziyad Boussoufa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Winsen Zeryouh, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Samih Zairi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mass Roumani in the 29th minute of play. Winsen Zeryouh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ziyad Boussoufa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amin Louissi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afer Chakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Taroudant Wydad's Amin Louissi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samih Zairi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Mass Roumani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taroudant Wydad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mass Roumani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Winsen Zeryouh was the one to do the kick off. Moutawakkil Talih's late challenge caught a Taza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moutawakkil Talih helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Taroudant Wydad got a freekick which was hit by Moutawakkil Talih. Afer Chakir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziyad Boussoufa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Bilal El Hirech kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ziyad Boussoufa was a little too slow when Winsen Zeryouh got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-1. Taza's Samih Zairi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mass Roumani in the 62nd minute of play. When Idriss Maaroufi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taza's protests and gave Idriss Maaroufi a yellow card for diving instead. Mass Roumani took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samih Zairi. Samih Zairi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Amin Louissi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Samih Zairi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taza's Samih Zairi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amin Louissi in the 74th minute of play. If Mass Roumani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 84th minute of the match Moutawakkil Talih completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Moutawakkil Talih a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Taza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
