A collision led to Khouribga getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ziri Ziyati hit a great ball. Asilah's Salem Benjelloun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayman Farid in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ayman Farid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salem Benjelloun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sajed El Bounadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khouribga's supporters rose to their feet, but Sajed El Bounadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maysar Camacho in the 76th minute of play forced Khouribga's goalkeeper Ridouane Arazi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sajed El Bounadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tamir Lohkmiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ridouane Arazi having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Tamir Lohkmiri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asilah fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Asilah's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
