After 19 minutes El Jadida Hillal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afalkay Baba who took care of the corner kick. Mahir El Ouardi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Munsif Hamouch kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Chakib Yaacoubi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Salem Lahoua saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in El Jadida Hillal's zone, Chakib Yaacoubi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salem Lahoua came out of the goal and Chakib Yaacoubi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Chakir El Guarrouj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afa Benjelloun got free with Salem Lahoua in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chakib Yaacoubi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in El Jadida Hillal's zone, Chakib Yaacoubi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salem Lahoua came out of the goal and Chakib Yaacoubi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Chakir El Guarrouj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Safi Ouhaki stood somewhat misplaced when Abdelkabir Ziati came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 60 minute. With a little luck, Imzouren's Safi Ouhaki got control of the ball when Chakir El Guarrouj tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute, Abdelkabir Ziati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chakir El Guarrouj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safi Ouhaki having to interfere.
