Abdelkhaliq Hamidouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Safi Taouil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Soubhi Harthan. Casablanca Tihad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Safi Taouil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. With a little luck, Marrakech's Abdelkhaliq Hamidouch got control of the ball when Anir El Ouardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anir El Ouardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdelkhaliq Hamidouch having to make a save.
