Yamine Belmahjoub came out of the goal and Safi Fenkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yamine Belmahjoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Safi Fenkar in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Taroudant getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aghilas Bouden hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Azrou's Ziad Hamdani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tijani Hissou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ziad Hamdani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tijani Hissou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mokhtar Benaskar during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mokhtar Benaskar kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Yamine Belmahjoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Safi Fenkar in the 27th minute of play. Safi Fenkar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yamine Belmahjoub read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Mokhtar Benaskar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ismael Ouchalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tijani Hissou having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Usus Kacemi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tijani Hissou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Ziad Hamdani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taroudant's Tijani Hissou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziad Hamdani in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Usus Kacemi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azrou fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Safi Fenkar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Safi Fenkar came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Taroudant fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Safi Fenkar couldn't finish the play. Tijani Hissou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziad Hamdani in the 62nd minute of the match. Azrou were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Taroudant's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Soufian Chafni took the corner. The corner ended in Sisangh Farras almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taroudant's Tijani Hissou did a great save. Usus Kacemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tijani Hissou having to interfere. Hilal Khayri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
