Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zagora Olympique's Zouheir Kissi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Marrakech Wifak's Emad Malki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hadji El Akchaoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Nasri El Kaddouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, Zagora Olympique's Nasri Diba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Soubhi Abarou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zagora Olympique reached it. Gaya El Mrini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hadji El Akchaoui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Azayku Sarhani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zagora Olympique and the Marrakech Wifak players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Zagora Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Azayku Sarhani. After a defensive mix-up in Zagora Olympique's zone, Emad Malki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hadji El Akchaoui came out of the goal and Emad Malki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, Gaya El Mrini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hadji El Akchaoui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Marrakech Wifak's Emad Malki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hadji El Akchaoui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emad Malki in the 42nd minute of play forced Zagora Olympique's goalkeeper Hadji El Akchaoui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takfarinas El Mouataz in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Soubhi Abarou, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 49 minutes into the match, Emad Malki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hadji El Akchaoui. Zagora Olympique's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emad Malki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Marrakech Wifak were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaya El Mrini was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes, Nouman Khlifi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marrakech Wifak and the Zagora Olympique players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Marrakech Wifak got a freekick which was hit by Nouman Khlifi. Soubhi Abarou came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagora Olympique's Zouheir Kissi. But to his dismay, Zouheir Kissi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Zouheir Kissi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marrakech Wifak's Gaya El Mrini in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zagora Olympique's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Gaya El Mrini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagora Olympique's Hadji El Akchaoui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Zouheir Kissi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Marrakech Wifak's Soubhi Abarou. Soubhi Abarou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zagora Olympique's Hadji El Akchaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emad Malki in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Emad Malki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marrakech Wifak's supporters rose to their feet, but Emad Malki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hadji El Akchaoui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
