In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tangier's goalkeeper Antalas Ait Yahya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asafar Rifi struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Azhar Diane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tangier. In the 15th minute, Wajih Ammi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Tijani Aboub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Azhar Diane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Azhar Diane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asafar Rifi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asafar Rifi to make the kick off. Aderbal Ouchahbar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Tijani Aboub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, one of Tangier:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 61 minutes into the match, Izem Naybet notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tangier's Antalas Ait Yahya. Antalas Ait Yahya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asafar Rifi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aderbal Ouchahbar might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antalas Ait Yahya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aderbal Ouchahbar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86 played minutes Tangier got a freekick which was hit by Wajih Ammi. If Aderbal Ouchahbar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
