In the 19thth minute of the game Fadel Obbadi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kenitra's Amazigh Sakim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Tétouan Difaa's Zuhair Ajri got control of the ball when Najid Aboub tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fadel Obbadi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuba Benthami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zuhair Ajri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuba Benthami in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Kenitra booed when Tétouan Difaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziyad Akaaboune showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Yuba Benthami sped through Tétouan Difaa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zuhair Ajri.
