Er Rachidia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naoufal Taouni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afa Ben Chrifa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Atrar Benzoukan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Khenifra AS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Agwmar Boughanem hit a great ball. Afer Diba's late challenge caught a Er Rachidia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ouassim Timoumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azizi Bosaroukh in the 20th minute of play. When Awzal Ali fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Khenifra AS's protests and gave Awzal Ali a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Khenifra AS's Awzal Ali got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 32nd minute, Awzal Ali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ouassim Timoumi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Afa Ben Chrifa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 37th playminute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azizi Bosaroukh in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ouassim Timoumi saved Er Rachidia from getting behind. Ouassim Timoumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Awzal Ali in the 43rd minute of play. Naoufal Taouni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 88th minute Naoufal Taouni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atrar Benzoukan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Er Rachidia's goalkeeper Ouassim Timoumi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Azizi Bosaroukh. Ridouane Atif hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes Khenifra AS got a freekick which was hit by Fahd Lohkmiri. If Naoufal Taouni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
