Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Taha El Khalej started the match with the kick off. Souleimane Talih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Ziri Soulaimani managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Khouribga's Talal Diane fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 16th play minutes Talal Diane shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ziri Soulaimani and just under the crossbar into goal. Ziri Soulaimani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taha El Khalej in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Khouribga getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Maysar Talhaoui hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Raja Berkouch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Talal Diane made a precise shot to the right of Ziri Soulaimani. Mohammedia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Khouribga's goal looked a bit too open when Raja Berkouch came free, but Usus El Amrani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talal Diane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ziri Soulaimani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rouchd Samaoui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Taha El Khalej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziri Soulaimani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raja Berkouch came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mohammedia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raja Berkouch couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
In the 53rd match minute, Mohammedia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chokri El Brazi to maneuver through the defense. Raja Berkouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aziz Mokhtari during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mohammedia booed when Khouribga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Mokhtari didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mohammedia getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ralib Sbai hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Asulil El Hadrioui sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ziri Soulaimani skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Talal Diane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khouribga's supporters rose to their feet, but Talal Diane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziri Soulaimani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mohammedia's Ziri Soulaimani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taha El Khalej in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mohammedia defense, Taha El Khalej kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziri Soulaimani. The Mohammedia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziri Soulaimani should have stopped the shot. A hard shot by Ralib Sbai from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Usus El Amrani's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Aziz Mokhtari kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Usus El Amrani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raja Berkouch in the 88th minute of play. Taha El Khalej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammedia's Ziri Soulaimani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Talal Diane in the 93rd minute of play. Chokri El Brazi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Usus El Amrani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mohammedia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Khouribga.
