He was immediately shown a red card. 10 minutes into the game, Moutawakkil Erbati was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khouribga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azilal Chabab the free kick. The referee ignored Azilal Chabab's protests and gave Saad Boutayeb a yellow card for diving instead. Saad Boutayeb hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Sisangh El Bahri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Saden Antaki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Azilal Chabab's Housni Oulmers tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half Azilal Chabab were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Sisangh El Bahri made the kick off in the second half. Amezyan Chadli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Azilal Chabab's Asmun Armoumen pulled a muscle in his back after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After having played for 56 minutes, Massyl El Zhar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azilal Chabab's supporters crossed their fingers, but Massyl El Zhar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Sisangh El Bahri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chakir Abrami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Azilal Chabab's goal looked a bit too open when Sisangh El Bahri came free, but Chakir Abrami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sisangh El Bahri managed to get in a good position for a shot.
