Amayas El Bassel kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salim Chippo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelhafiz Ben Barek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 8 minutes, Najid Erbati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Najid Erbati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tétouan's Antalas Abdessadki got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdelhafiz Ben Barek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antalas Abdessadki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tétouan booed when Safi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wajih Zerka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Salim Chippo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tétouan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salim Chippo couldn't finish the play. Safi's Abdelhafiz Ben Barek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salim Chippo in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Safi's Azulay El Zhar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aznag Harthan. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Najid Erbati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Antalas Abdessadki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tétouan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Azulay El Zhar 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Azulay El Zhar to make the kick off. Aznag Harthan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azulay El Zhar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Afa Lohkmiri kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Najid Erbati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Aznag Harthan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azulay El Zhar took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aznag Harthan. Aznag Harthan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Azulay El Zhar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aznag Harthan having to make a save. 85 minutes into the game, Safi's Azulay El Zhar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aznag Harthan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Abdelhafiz Ben Barek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antalas Abdessadki in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tétouan's goalkeeper Aznag Harthan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Safi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
