Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aziz Ziyati got the match started through his kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Udad Sbai successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aziz Ziyati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Essaouira's Udad Sbai got control of the ball when Antalas Abdessadki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tétouan's Aziz Ziyati got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aziz Ziyati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tétouan's zone, Jawad Chafni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aznag Harthan came out of the goal and Jawad Chafni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute of the match, Antalas Abdessadki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Udad Sbai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tétouan's Aznag Harthan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jawad Chafni in the 25th minute of play. Mamoun Ait Omar's late challenge caught a Essaouira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mamoun Ait Omar helped the player get up and apologised. Mamoun Ait Omar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Essaouira's Jawad Chafni got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Essaouira's Taoufiq Hadaouir made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aznag Harthan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jawad Chafni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aziz Ziyati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taoufiq Hadaouir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antalas Abdessadki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Udad Sbai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taoufiq Hadaouir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aziz Ziyati's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Udad Sbai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Tétouan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Essaouira a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mansour Tamsamani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tétouan's Aznag Harthan. 0-2. Aziz Ziyati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Udad Sbai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tétouan's zone, Jawad Chafni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aznag Harthan came out of the goal and Jawad Chafni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tétouan's Abdelmajid Ben Chrifa got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Taoufiq Hadaouir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taoufiq Hadaouir in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aznag Harthan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 77 minutes, Taoufiq Hadaouir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Essaouira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taoufiq Hadaouir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 79 in the game by Jawad Chafni from a close distance when the talented Aznag Harthan managed to make a qualified save. Tétouan's players were relieved. Aznag Harthan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taoufiq Hadaouir's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Taoufiq Hadaouir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tétouan's Afa Lohkmiri got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jawad Chafni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aznag Harthan having to make a save. After 87 minutes of play Tétouan's Mamoun Ait Omar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes into the game, Afa Lohkmiri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tétouan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Essaouira the free kick. After 91 played minutes, Essaouira's Mansour Tamsamani shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aznag Harthan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Essaouira reached it. Antalas Abdessadki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udad Sbai having to interfere. The supporters of Tétouan booed when Essaouira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massin Rwina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Essaouira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Essaouira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
