Zaid Doukalis short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Yuba Zeryouh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berkane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tan-Tan the free kick. After 40 played minutes Berkane got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Benzoukan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faouzi Boughanem in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saad Bouden saved Berkane from getting behind. The Tan-Tan fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Tan-Tan's Faouzi Boughanem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Hadji Ahanfouf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berkane's Saad Bouden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moutawakkil Boukemouch's late challenge caught a Tan-Tan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a left leg Saad Bouden saved Berkane from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, one of Tan-Tan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 85 minutes into the match, Tan-Tan's goal looked a bit too open when Zaid Doukali came free, but Yuba Zeryouh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Salim Ghayour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
