In the 11th minute, Asmun Chakhssi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wakil Bagui in the 15th minute of play forced Khemisset AS's goalkeeper Emad El Kaoutar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Khemisset AS got a freekick which was hit by Zakariya Bidouane. 20 minutes into the match, Khemisset AS's goal looked a bit too open when Jalal El Azhari came free, but Emad El Kaoutar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Asmun Chakhssi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khemisset AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taza the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Khemisset AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asmun Chakhssi to maneuver through the defense. Elias El Ouaryaghli kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A hard shot by Najim Hadaouir from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Afulay El Akchaoui's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Najim Hadaouir's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Afulay El Akchaoui - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Taza's Wakil Bagui nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emad El Kaoutar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Wakil Bagui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emad El Kaoutar having to make a save. Ayrad El Hamdaoui charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ayrad El Hamdaoui the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ayrad El Hamdaoui kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Wakil Bagui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Emad El Kaoutar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute Abdelhafiz Azzouzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afulay El Akchaoui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelhafiz Azzouzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afulay El Akchaoui having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Taza's zone, Ayub Chkilit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afulay El Akchaoui came out of the goal and Ayub Chkilit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Khemisset AS's Emad El Kaoutar got control of the ball when Jalal El Azhari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zakariya Bidouane's late challenge caught a Taza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zakariya Bidouane helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Zakariya Bidouane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wakil Bagui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emad El Kaoutar having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Khemisset AS's Ayub Chkilit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afulay El Akchaoui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Many of Taza's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Taza may have spent more time on the ball, but Khemisset AS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
