After a defensive mix-up in Khenifra's zone, Bahja Oulmers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samih Bidouane came out of the goal and Bahja Oulmers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Massin Ghayour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nouri Zerouali charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nouri Zerouali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nouri Zerouali kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Rami Iajour notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Imzouren's Nizar Fegrouch. Nizar Fegrouch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 14th match minute, Khenifra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mansour El Bassel to maneuver through the defense. If Bahja Oulmers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samih Bidouane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Massin Ghayour, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Samih Bidouane made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Bahja Oulmers sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute Massin Ghayour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samih Bidouane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rami Iajour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nizar Fegrouch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nacer Louzani struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Nizar Fegrouch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Khenifra. In the 35th minute Nacer Louzani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizar Fegrouch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nizar Fegrouch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rami Iajour in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rami Iajour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nizar Fegrouch was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The Imzouren players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Khenifra were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Massin Ghayour stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Imzouren's goalkeeper Nizar Fegrouch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nacer Louzani. In the 60th minute Bahja Oulmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samih Bidouane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imzouren's Rochdi Oulmers couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Khenifra. In the 64th minute, Nacer Louzani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Bahja Oulmers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samih Bidouane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahja Oulmers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Samih Bidouane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imzouren's Bahja Oulmers got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Khenifra booed when Imzouren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nabil Belmahjoub didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Khenifra getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Zakariya Boukemouch hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Massin Ghayour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imzouren's supporters rose to their feet, but Massin Ghayour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samih Bidouane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Massin Ghayour had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samih Bidouane. Khenifra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Massin Ghayour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Massin Ghayour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samih Bidouane having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Massin Ghayour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imzouren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Massin Ghayour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Imzouren players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
