Afer El Idrissi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 9 minutes, Mokhtar Talhaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 17th minute, Nabil Kachloul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Itri El Bahri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mohammedia Wifak's supporters rose to their feet, but Itri El Bahri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afer El Idrissi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jalal Kharbouchi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ikken El Amrani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ameqran Zaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikken El Amrani having to interfere. Nabil Kachloul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afer El Idrissi having to interfere. Osmane Safri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afer El Idrissi having to interfere. Soubhi El Akchaoui hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes Mohammedia Wifak got a freekick which was hit by Rachad Harthan. Nabil Kachloul might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afer El Idrissi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nabil Kachloul ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nabil Kachloul was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Jadida Olympique's goalkeeper Afer El Idrissi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Ameqran Zaki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ikken El Amrani was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Jalal Kharbouchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yahya Bagui during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
