Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anaruz Taouil started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Hoceima's zone, Wassim Fehla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hadji El Hirech came out of the goal and Wassim Fehla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anaruz Taouil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Younes Faris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imrane Benthami in the 28th minute of play. Cazimir Mandoiu's late challenge caught a Al-Hoceima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Mandoiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Al-Hoceima booed when Green BoYs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Mandoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Yacoub Mousaber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Younes Faris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Faouzi Nekach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Al-Hoceima getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Munsif Timoumi hit a great ball. Younes Faris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarek El Kaddouri, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Younes Faris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imrane Benthami in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Al-Hoceima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imrane Benthami to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Imrane Benthami to make the kick off. Rochdi Daoudi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Faouzi Nekach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadji El Hirech having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Anaruz Taouil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hadji El Hirech was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Green BoYs's Ziri Rwina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rachid Sakim in the 61 minute of the game. Green BoYs's Younes Faris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Green BoYs from getting a goal against them. Anaruz Taouil spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Al-Hoceima's goal. Anaruz Taouil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Imrane Benthami dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Younes Faris, 1-1. After 84 played minutes, Al-Hoceima's Nizar Belkhayat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Younes Faris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al-Hoceima reached it. If Imrane Benthami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Younes Faris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imrane Benthami, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th match minute, Green BoYs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faouzi Nekach to maneuver through the defense. Imrane Benthami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Younes Faris having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Al-Hoceima were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Green BoYs side.
